MoBarCLE and the Young Lawyers’ Section present Lunch Break Legal Basics; convenient 1-hour webinars covering the fundamentals and practice tips regarding core legal concepts.   

 

This session will explore the role of a Guardian ad Litem in Order of Protection cases and how to effectively represent the best interest of a child through an Order of Protection. Topics will include:  

  • How and when a GAL is appointed in an Order of Protection?  
  • Does a GAL have the same Standards for Orders of Protection?  
  • Do both children receive a GAL when it’s a child against child Order of Protection?
