Enrich your movement vocabulary. Learn a variety of progressive drills and acrobatic movements. From the very basics to more and more complex skills and variations.
Task Exploration – Flow

Engage in an active process of learning. Expose yourself to a variety tasks which origins are in capoeira, animal locomotion, contemporary dance, functional & natural movement. Learn to move between acrobatics with more freedom. For anybody who wants to take a brake from linear learning and to become a creative mover.
Flexibility

Any mover who explore acrobatics should work on flexibility. Improve your hips and torso flexibility through dynamic and static drills so you will not injure yourself in the learning process. Be ready to enjoy your skills anywhere and at any time.
General Movement

Warm up in more complex and creative ways. Enjoy a series of classes that you can do anytime of the day, to tune in with your body using movements from a variety of arts and sports.

About the Course

This course was careful created to enable you to have a deeper understanding of acrobatics, to improve your body awareness, flexibility and your movement practice overall.

The course has 3 main parts:

Acrobatics: here we are going to dive from technique into the depths of the imagination. We will explore a variety of progressions, acrobatic movements, sequences, tasks and improvisational scores. We will learn how to flow between acrobatics and how to achieve more freedom as movers.

The main focus will be on cartwheels, which we will study in detail, but there will be many other skills that you will learn along the way.

General Movement: these classes can be done before acrobatics as a warm up or anytime during the day just for your wellbeing. Here we are going to use a variety of movements from different sports and arts. We will cover a variety of areas like body mapping, joint articulations, stretching, crawling and coordinations.

Flexibility: in this course we will focus on the areas that need better flexibility so you can do a smooth and beautiful cartwheel. We will use different methods of stretching – contract – relax, dynamic and explorative to open the hips and the torso.
