Even if it is a total fake.

See, we as human beings are hardwired to respond to one of the most powerful forms of marketing that has ever been since the beginning of time.  

Storytelling.

Think I’m kidding? Next time you go out with friends or come home from work, watch what happens. I mean…I want you to be 100% aware of where the ‘conversation’ goes.

I can practically bet my first born that someone will start sharing the details of their life or the life of someone else.

No matter how you slice it, we can’t escape the storytelling mechanism built inside of us. Nor can we escape the wanting to hear a good story as well.

So what does that have to do with you creating your own autobiography? I’ll tell you in a moment, but first…

Not to ‘ruin the mood’, but can you answer that question? Have you given it thought? What will people say about you once you’re gone and passed away?

Do people even know the real you? Will what you have done mattered?

It’s an eye opening questions, but nonetheless appropriate for our discussion you and I are having at the moment.

See, all we have really to pass on once we leaven planet earth is our legacy whatever it may be. It’s funny, but there are still things I’m learning today about family members of mine who I grew up with that I never even knew certain things happened to or what they accomplished.

And that’s why I’m asking you, “how do you want to be remembered?”

Now I’m not trying to kill you off like a bad plot in a crappy novel. I hope you have a life full of days.

But just being realistic, if you’re going to create an autobiography then shouldn’t it be how you want people to remember you?

Shouldn’t it be where people can convey your personality, character, emotions, quirks, and more to a total stranger and that stranger feels like they’ve known you all their life?
